Factions include the Ultramarines, Black Legion, Astra Militarium, Necron, Adepta Sororitas, Black Templars, Death Guard, and, of course, Orks. And as if that wasn’t enough, there’s plenty more in the pipeline. 

Each faction then consists of a platoon of warriors that can be gacha’d into existence and deployed with a variety of equipment that can be tactically chosen to help turn the tide of any battle.

Battles are played out in a vertical field, and it is up to the player to manage resources and the particular set of skills available to their chosen army. Different warriors thrive in different settings, meaning players must also put thought into who exactly is up for the task in every skirmish. 

Players can decide to engage each other in nail-biting PvP skirmishes, tackle the PvE campaigns, or even work together with a guild to tackle fearsome bosses in raids. And needless to say, where there are guilds, there are leaderboards, with ample chances to prove your worth to players from around the world.

The title comes from Snowprint Studios, whose repertoire includes the acclaimed Rivengard and Legend of Solgard. The studio designed the game as an accessible way for casual players to get into Warhammer 40k, with biomes and characters lifted straight from the incredibly in-depth lore designed to pique the interest of anyone who may wish to dig a little deeper.
