App Games That You Should Be Playing Right Now!

2021 was such a great year for app games as we were introduced to a vast of new free-to-play games to explore. Genres like Action RPG, Multiplayer Online Battle Arena (MOBA), and Augmented Reality have become increasingly popular in recent years and they are continuously dominating the market today. Well-established titles like Genshin Impact and League of Legends: Wild Rift have remained top contenders while newcomers like the immersive RPG “Fantasian” and the action-packed Rocket League Sideswipe made a remarkable impression in the gaming community.

PUBG also brought a new entry with their newest spin-off “PUBG New State” that took us all in a futuristic battle royale. Interestingly, we are also welcoming this new year with a bang! Although we are just getting started, we are expecting this year to pave way to some bigger titles. Some giant PC games are expected to make their way to the mobile platform this year including Valorant Mobile, Apex Legends, and the highly anticipated Diablo Immortal. We are also expecting a new Final Fantasy game as well as new Clash games from Supercell. Now, if you are still stuck with the good ol’ Candy Crush Saga on your phone, you’re definitely missing out a lot! It is time to step up your game to another level so we are listing down ten of the newest free-to-play app games that you should definitely be playing right now!

Rush Royale: Tower Defense

From the same studio that brought Hustle Castle and Zero City comes a new app game that brings a new take to the classic tower defense battle. Rush Royale is a tower defense game that is smartly incorporated with PvP elements similar to Crash Royale. You play the game in the classic TD fashion in which your main goal is to prevent the enemies from breaking through your defenses while competing against another player in real-time. To do so, you randomly summon units (using mana points) and upgrade them to make them more efficient. The first player to lose all the life points will be defeated. Aside from the main campaign, Rush Royale also offers Co-op Mode, Tournaments, Clan system, Quests, Customizable and upgradable card decks, season passes, and generous rewards.

Pokemon Unite

After the success of Pokemon GO, these adorable monsters are now taking over the online battle arena with Pokemon Unite. TiMi Studio is not really new to MOBAs and MMOs as they brought some well-established app games titles like Arena of Valor, Call of Duty, and PUBG on the table. Like the aforementioned games, it seems like Pokemon Unite shares the same level of success. It is done and played in a classic MOBA style where two teams of five players will enter an epic battle. The team with the most scored points wins the match. While the battle system itself is very much formulaic, Pokemon Unite comes with many unique features to elevate your MOBA experience. For instance, the game features a unique mapping system that your team can utilize to build an effective strategy against the opposing party. If you are a certified Pokemon fan, this game is absolutely a great addition to your device.
